Here comes the sun - Vincent van Gogh’s sunflowers that is. We will do a drawing of a sunflower still life and use crayon resist with watercolor paint in spray bottles. So fun! We’ll add some crystal magic to the end:) We’ll have some Earth Day Fun, and make good ole shrinky dink earth pins. We’ll talk about taking care of our planet and living green. We’ll make some kindness rocks and pet rocks too. We’ll do gem drawings using watercolor pencils, learning about perspective. We’ll discover what crystals can do when you combine them with paint, and take a look at their growth under a microscope to get a better view. We’ll learn about the makeup of the earth. and have some fun with our state rock the geode. We’ll get our science groove on to grow our own geodes using eggs. It’ll be a busy and fun week that rocks!
