This week we will create our own patterns using stamps that we invent. We’ll talk about the Lunar New Year and do our own tiger prints! We’ll look at the art of pattern-making We’ll make our own block prints using several materials including paints, wood, potatoes, cardboard and foam. Let the prints begin! We be inspired by quilts and quilt patterns. We’ll explore the history of Valentine’s Day and we’ll make our own hand-made valentines. We’ll use mixed media. Everyone will learn a quick pop-up card. The rest will be out of their own imaginations.
