August 16-19 (Monday-Friday)

This week we’ll be back in the olden days. We will make butter,
jam and biscuits from scratch. We will practice writing our letters with some hand made quill pens (from real turkey feathers) and ink. We’ll use a wash board and hang our laundry on the line. We’ll make our own mini lanterns and game of checkers with a sewn pocket envelope to hold the pieces. We’ll talk about Iowa history and get in touch with our inner Laura Ingalls Wilder.
