Looking for some stay-cation fun? This week will be Spring Break and St. Patrick’s day in Des Moines. There will be Shenanigans and Plenty-O-Melarchy. We’ll make our own good luck with horseshoes and 4-leaf clovers with rainbow dreams. We’ll also be having our own “vacation” at the workshop learning about our National Parks, Iowa Parks and what makes 100 years of history so super-amazing! We’ll have an adventure making dioramas and visiting places we’d like to go. We’ll make some painted IOWA art and learn about some splendors right in our state. A little history and a lot of fun. Painted stick frames, pearler beads and tye-dying will be a must. We’ll end our camp adventure with a mini parks documentary and good old s’mores and songs:) This week the workshops are a little longer to support kids who are off of school.
